Welcome to Transportation Services
General Overview
The University of Texas at Dallas's Transportation Services Office was established in the Fall semester of 2007. The mission of Transportation Services is to provide on- and off-campus transit to students, faculty, staff, and visitors that is convenient, cost effective, and safe.
In cooperation with Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Route 883 provides transit service Monday through Friday from the campus to the DART Light Rail system and local residential and shopping areas. Route 883 operates a limited schedule on weekends.
All transit services operated by the University are open to the public. No pass or ID of any sort is necessary to board and no fare is required. Transit programs are operated in conjunction with DART with the majority of program funding coming from a student transportation fee. Campus buses are scheduled conveniently to connect to DART Light Rail trains.
The DART Transit Pass is available to all UT-Dallas students, faculty, and staff.
Paratransit services are available through DART.
The Transportation Services Office offers assistance with charter services through a variety of vendors for University and student organizations.
