I am a silver medalist in swimming

Why did you decide to become an Orientation Team Mentor?
I love to guide new students and transform them from a confused state of mind to a solid state

What advice do you have for the freshman class coming to UT Dallas?
Keep a balance between academic work and extracurricular work. Don't overload your schedule

What is your favorite thing about UT Dallas?
I like the concept of the Comet and the mascot Temoc (comet spelt backwards)

Was there anything you wish you knew before starting your freshman year?
I wish I had known that the scantrons and blue books are available for free at the Student Government office

What has been your best UT Dallas experience so far?
Being an OTM

Is there anything you would change about your freshman year experience?
No, I liked the way it was

What is your favorite UT Dallas tradition?
The Whooshing tradition! It is very different compared to other schools, who have a symbol or a sign that is short.
