Do you live on campus? If yes, what do you like about living on your own?
Yes, and I like being able to run my house in a way that goes well with my schedule and needs, as well as the freedom of how I spend my time.

I’m vice president of my building government and I am a safety officer of Swim Club.
List some of your hobbies.
Drawing, singing, swimming, hiking, reading and cheering.
Why did you decide to become an Orientation Team Mentor?
To become more connected in the UT Dallas community as well as to strengthen my social skills. I also like helping people.
What advice do you have for the freshman class coming to UT Dallas?
Use your planner (I can’t begin to express how important it will be)! Go to class. The more effort you put into your classes, the more effort professors will be willing to put into helping you.
What do you wish you did during your freshman year that you didn’t?
I don’t have any regrets that I can recall.
What do you like about UT Dallas?
The environment and the fact that it’s small.
Why did you decide to attend UT Dallas?
My major, the University’s small size and the nice atmosphere.
What has been your favorite/best UT Dallas experience so far?
Comet Camp and becoming an Orientation Team Mentor!
What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
How much responsibility hides behind the promise of freedom; you have to motivate yourself to go to class, get good grades, etc.
What do you like to do to unwind after class?
Play video games, read, draw and hang with my friends.
