Why did you decide to become an Orientation Team Mentor?
I want to help freshman through their transition into college.

What advice do you have for the freshman class coming to UT Dallas?
Surround yourself with good people because they are the ones that are going to be there for you through the good and bad.

What is your favorite thing about UT Dallas?
The Homecoming dance

Was there anything you wish you knew before starting your freshman year?
Do not take more than 18 hours if you are the type of person who needs to study to do well!

What has been your best UT Dallas experience so far?
Meeting new people because everyone is so warm and welcoming

Is there anything you would change about your freshman year experience?
No, I believe in living with no regrets. Regardless of whether an experience is good or bad, something can always be learned, so this acquired knowledge makes the experience worthwhile.

What is your favorite UT Dallas tradition?
