Do you live on campus? If yes, what do you like about living on your own?
Yes. I like having the independence, as well as the responsibility of taking care of myself and not having to rely so heavily on my parents.

List some of the clubs or organizations you are involved in at UT Dallas.
Orientation Team Mentor, Crush, Pre-Dental Association, Habitat for Humanity.

List some of your hobbies.
Watching movies and reality shows, reading, sleeping and hanging out with friends.

What is something that people may not know about you?
I was born in Nigeria and I can speak two languages.

Why did you decide to become an Orientation Team Mentor?
I wanted to become involved in an organization in which I could not only help others and create bonds with new people, but at the same time learn and grow myself.

What advice do you have for the freshman class coming to UT Dallas?
I have two pieces of advice for incoming freshmen: 1.) Have an open mind about the school, the people, everything in general and 2.) Relax and enjoy the experience, because you will only have it once.

What do you wish you did during your freshman year that you didn’t?
I suffered from a very bad case of procrastination in my freshman year. I still do a little bit right now, but in a healthier amount.

What do you like about UT Dallas?
I like the openness and smallness of the campus. Both qualities make it easier to meet and connect with people who are open and understanding.

Why did you decide to attend UT Dallas?
The main reason I came to UT Dallas was because my sister graduated from UT Dallas and it is also close to my home and family.

What has been your favorite/best UT Dallas experience so far?
My favorite UT Dallas experience so far would have to be the people that I’ve met and the friendships that I’ve found here.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
I learned that building relationships with and getting to know your professors is very important. It not only makes it easier for them to help you should you have any questions, but they are able to provide reference letters, if needed.

What do you like to do to unwind after class?
Sleep. I am a very big fan of sleeping/napping, especially after a long day.
