Why did you decide to become an Orientation Team Mentor?
It looked like a lot of fun and a great opportunity to meet new people and become a bigger part of the UT Dallas campus.

What advice do you have for the freshman class coming to UT Dallas?
Be careful when choosing your classes and make sure you don’t overload yourself. Also meet new people; it’s always more fun when you are around people you know.

What do you wish you did during your freshman year that you didn’t?
I wished I had lived on campus.

What do you like about UT Dallas?
The University has great professors who actually care and know what they are talking about.

Why did you decide to attend UT Dallas?
It’s close to an area of Texas I already knew and it’s not too expensive.

What has been your favorite/best UT Dallas experience so far?
Meeting new people.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
Classes at 9:30 a.m. are still really early in the day.

What do you like to do to unwind after class?
Sleep, hang out with friends, watch movies, relax or play video games.
