I’m adopted.

Why did you decide to become an Orientation Team Mentor?
I wanted to get more involved on campus, and I wanted to make an impact on the university.

What advice do you have for the freshman class coming to UT Dallas?
Get a planner, and learn your way around the UTD website.

What is your favorite thing about UT Dallas?
The awesome people

Was there anything you wish you knew before starting your freshman year?
I wish I had known how many welcoming people on campus tend to be. I would have been much more comfortable attending events by myself.

What has been your best UT Dallas experience so far?
Going to Splatter Beat with friends

Is there anything you would change about your freshman year experience?
I wish I had been less shy about attending events and getting involved.
