  • Each year, the GEC receives generous donations from a variety of organizations and allows select organizations to exhibit their products for the conference attendees. Donations to GEC07 from the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, the Department of Energy, General Electric, the National Science Foundation, and Sandia National Laboratories allowed the organizers to award student excellence prizes and support student attendees from all over the world. Organizations wishing to make a donation to help support the GEC efforts should contact the GEC Chair, Dr. Peter Ventzek or Conference Secretary Dr. Larry Overzet. Discretionary donations are always appreciated.

Exhibitors are an important part of the GEC. The attendees of the conference come from universities, corporations and National Labs. As a consequence the conference is a natural venue for displaying and selling high-technology products, services, journals and books etc. An outstanding array of companies and groups has exhibited at the GEC. They range from local to international; from small to fortune 500 juggernauts. The inexpensive price and superior exposure make it a great place to exhibit.

The Dallas location for 2008 is right in the heart of the DFW Metroplex high tech corridor and as a consequence will allow exhibitors to effectively double their investment. Not only can they exhibit to the GEC participants, but they can also purchase single day conference registrations at reduced rates. These registrations can be used to invite any of the 1000’s of engineers in the local industry to come by as well.

This years' venue will accommodate individual exhibition spaces consisting of a 6 foot table. Locations will be determined on a first come, first served basis. For more information, see the exhibitor storefront(link) or contact the local organizing committee exhibitors coordinator.
