Are there any special events/fun things to do in Dallas this time of year?
YOU BET! Lots of them. Maybe the first thing to note is the State Fair of Texas. If you haven't been, well, don't leave town without going. There are rodeos, shopping, concerts, sporting events (professional teams include the Cowboys, Mavericks, Rangers, Stars and FC Dallas), Museums (for example, the 6th floor museum from which JFK was shot) Arboretums, Zoos etc. If you can name it, it takes place here. And as everyone knows... It's bigger and better in Texas!
