Fit Gap Sessions

The Human Capital Management (HCM) Fit/Gap Sessions are scheduled to take place from late January through most of February. The Fit/Gap Sessions are designed to discover how business processes for each campus differs from the standard PeopleSoft implementation.

Fit/Gap Sessions take place Monday through Thursday on the dates listed above.

Meeting Invitations

If you need to attend any of these sessions remotely but have not received an email invitation, please contact john e. harvey, Gemini Project Communications Lead.

If you have misplaced your meeting information and need to learn specific connection details, please review the document FitGapSchedule_Info.doc located in the Campus Library > UTDallas folder of the Shared Services SharePoint web site.

Video Conference Instructions

You can connect remotely to the live video conference through the Austin NOC Codian bridge using the information listed in the above-mentioned FitGapSchedule_Info.doc. You will need to connect to the Austin NOC Codian bridge, and enter the following:

  • Conf ID
  • PIN

These are listed in your meeting invitation.

If you can connect to the Codian, but cannot get into the conference, contact the NOC at 512-471-2400.

If you are unable to connect to the Austin NOC Codian bridge, contact your campus technology department, or email

Also, please confirm:

  • Your microphones are muted
  • Your speakers are not turned up too high to prevent feedback.

Live Meeting Instructions

To attend an online meeting using Live Meeting follow the instructions below.

  1. Copy this address and paste it into your web browser:
  2. Copy and paste the required information:

    -- Entry Code
    These are listed in your meeting invitation. You can also find this in the FitGapSchedule_Info.doc.

If you still cannot enter the meeting, contact Microsoft Live Meeting Support.

Computer Audio Information:
To use computer audio, you need speakers and microphone, or a headset.

First Time Users:
To save time before the meeting, check your system to make sure it is ready to use Microsoft Office Live Meeting.

Microsoft Office Live Meeting can be used to record meetings. By participating in this meeting, you agree that your communications may be monitored or recorded at any time during the meeting.

Live Meeting Tips

Attendees can join the meeting 30 minutes prior to the start. (Sessions usually start at 9:00 AM.)

  • At Sign In, please enter your name as Campus - Name, i.e., UTPA - Mariely Rincón.
  • Change your Feedback status if you are having any technical issues.
  • Use the Q&A panel to ask questions, including any follow-up questions.
  • Keep the Q&A panel open to monitor questions and answers.
  • If you are also watching the video conference, turn your video speakers down to prevent feedback.

The Galaxy Portal has launched and Gemini is live! For information about training, be sure to check out the Training page. Several online presentations are available for immediate viewing. You can also sign up for instructor-led classes. Tools, such as conversion reference tables, are also available.
