Interfraternity Council

Welcome to the Interfraternity Council at UT Dallas. The Interfraternity Council is the student-run governing and program body for fraternities at UT Dallas.

We strive to attain the highest possible standards of scholarship. We provide a wealth of leadership opportunities to better prepare individuals for life after college. We give back to those who are less fortunate through a multitude of campus, community, and chapter philanthropic events. Finally, we establish a vast social network by introducing people of common ideals and values. The decision to join this community is a lifelong decision, and with that will come lifelong benefits, all with the hopes of preparing individuals to one day become productive and successful members of society.

Recruitment

  Join IFC Today

Men interested in joining a fraternity should meet as many fraternity members during both the fall and spring semester to learn about the various activities sponsored by each chapter. It is highly encouraged for new students to participate in fall recruitment.

The more people you meet in fraternities, the more options are likely to be available to you at the conclusion of the process. You should also keep in mind that friends made during your freshman year and beyond at UT Dallas will be lifelong friends, regardless of fraternity affiliation.

Letter from the President

Gentlemen,

Joining a fraternity is one of the greatest decisions you will make in your life!

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is an organization that consists of the four traditional social fraternities at UTD. IFC is a unique student organization because it offers students an experience that cannot be obtained anywhere else. IFC seeks to promote academic excellence, community service and leadership development.

The four fraternities at UT Dallas are unique, but they all promote brotherhood that will result in life-long friendships.

UT Dallas Greeks work with other organizations and participate in campus wide events such as Homecoming, Greek Week, intramurals, and many more. We take tremendous pride in the Greek community and know that without the help of every Greek member making the decision to join a fraternity, it would not be as it is today. Fraternity life is a very exciting opportunity and I urge you to take part in all of the rock-solid experiences Fraternity Life has to offer.

I look forward to seeing you at Recruitment!

Interfraternally,

Travis M. Keshvari
IFC President
