Dear UT Dallas Parents,
On behalf of Fraternity & Sorority Life, we welcome your family to the Greek community at UT Dallas. Your student made one of the most important decisions of their life, and the decision to attend UT Dallas was the correct one!
As your student transitions into the collegiate environment, many exciting things will occur as they settle into their "home away from home." We hope that you will encourage your student to consider the possibility of the membership benefits our Greek-lettered organizations have to offer.
Membership in one of our organizations adds to the holistic development of your student by engaging them in opportunities to enrich their academics, in numerous possibilities to get involved on campus, ability to gain leadership skills, develop interpersonal skills, form meaningful relationships, and discover what it means to be an active citizen within our society.
For more than 20 years, men and women have participated in these organizations which have enhanced their undergraduate experience here at UT Dallas. Greek-Lettered organizations are some of the most vibrant and active student organizations on our campus. Our 16 values-based organizations make up an integral part of student life at UT Dallas and we hope that the tradition will continue with your student's membership.
Please support and aid your student in making the best decision about whether or not they should be a part of our Greek community.
There are multiple educational resources on our website to allow you and your family to become more familiar with our community and see the value our organizations can afford your student. Fraternities and sororities are different on every campus, so please allow your student to choose an organization that they feel most comfortable with.
Our mission is to support your student in all aspects of their undergraduate education while here at UT Dallas and to foster the values of which our organizations were founded upon. Congratulations once again to your student for making the decision to attend UT Dallas. We look forward to seeing your student during recruitment! Go Comets and GO GREEK!
