Student Health Insurance
The UT Dallas Student Health Insurance office manages the UT Dallas student health insurance plan, provides confidential claims advising services, and serves as an information resource regarding local healthcare provides.
The Student Health Insurance Office became a part of the Student Health Center in fall 2011, and is located on the fourth floor of the Student Services Building, SSB 4.700.
Spring 2013 Waiver Period (Dec. 3, 2012- Jan. 30, 2013)
Spring waiver forms will be available on Nov.30, 2012.International students, unless you apply for or are granted a waiver, student health insurance will be charged to your student account. If you have any questions about the charge, please email stuhealthinsurance@utdallas.edu or call the student health center at 972-883-2747 no later than Sept. 13, 2012.
IMPORTANT CHANGES!
The University of Texas System is pleased to offer a new Student Health Insurance Plan underwritten by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. The plan is administered by Academic Health Plans for the 2012-2013 school year. This student-focused plan protects students at school, at home, and while traveling or studying abroad. We now have two different waiver forms depending on the type of insurance that you have. If you have an insurance policy through an employer, please complete the Employer Waiver Form. If you have any other type of insurance, please complete the Private Waiver Form. Both forms are available on the website and in the Student Health Center.
