The Student Health Center recognizes its responsibility to respect the basic human rights of patients who seek treatment at our facility. As mandated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), all medical records are strictly confidential and are not connected with the academic records of students in any way. A valid authorization for release must be completed and signed by the patient before medical records may be released to anyone.
