Dr. Wendy Lower is Professor of History at Towson University in Towson, Maryland and is currently a research fellow at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, Germany. Professor Lower is the author of a number of books and articles on the Holocaust, and is the 2007 winner of the Baker Burton Award for her Best First Book European History from the Southern Historical Asociation. Her current works include Nazi Empire-Building and the Holocaust in Ukraine and The Shoah in Ukraine: History, Testimony and Memorialization.
