12–3 p.m., Student Union Mall — Fashion, food, fun! Kick off homecoming week with a fall fashion show featuring the latest in Comet spirit wear, and with students, faculty and alumni as models. Sponsored by the Bookstore. Beats provided by Radio UTD, food provided by the 2013 Homecoming Committee.
8 p.m., Lot A — Experience the latest rage in running! Free glow-in-the-dark gear provided. Register at tinyurl.com/Home5K. Check-in is at 7 p.m.
10 a.m.–3 p.m., Galaxy Rooms — Create mums and garters for yourself or your sweetie; it’s a Texas tradition!
7:30 p.m., Activity Center Main Gym — Meet your women’s basketball team and the 2013 Homecoming Court. Join in as the UT Dallas power dancers and cheerleaders rally our campus community.
8:30 p.m., Soccer Field — Team Green and Team Orange square off in this women’s powder puff match.
9:30 p.m.–2 a.m., Lot A — Enjoy music, fun and beverages while you decorate your homecoming parade float.
12 p.m., Rutford Avenue — Join your fellow students, plus faculty and staff, for UT Dallas’ annual homecoming parade, where we’ll showcase custom-designed floats.
1 p.m., Visitors Center Atrium — Join us for a picnic immediately following the homecoming parade. Winners of the annual homecoming door decorating contest will be announced.
6 p.m., Activity Center Pool — Will your boat sink or float? Teams must build a boat made of only duct tape and cardboard. Awards will be given for race winners, most spirited and most creative designs. Judging begins at 5:30 p.m. Contact email@example.com for more information.

4 p.m., Alamo Drafthouse — UT Dallas alumni and their guests are invited to attend the private screening of the animated film Free Birds by Reel FX and Relativity Media.
