No cash will be accepted. Please submit check or money order payable to University Village. Separate checks or money orders for the application fee and the deposit are required.
Prior to moving in, you MUST resolve any outstanding admission and registration requirements. Students with outstanding items on their To Do List or holds for residency, required vaccinations or other required documents will be unable to register for classes.
To be eligible to live at University Village, students must maintain student status each semester they wish to reside at University Village and enroll in and complete the following:
- Graduate students — 3 class hours of UT Dallas course work each fall and spring semester.
- Undergraduate students — 3 class hours of UT Dallas course work each fall and spring semester.
- All students — enrollment in summer classes is not required.
Quad apartments may only be leased by four UT Dallas students.
Residence at University Village is restricted to UT Dallas students and their spouses and children. All residents 18 years of age and older must be signatories on housing agreements. An individual who is a non-immigrant and who is on practical training is no longer a student and is not eligibile to lease.
A resident who is suspended or expelled by the University must complete a University Village Housing Cancellation form no later than 24 hours following the exhaustion of the appeal process. Eligibility may be revoked if a student is found in violation of the student code of conduct.
Available units are filled in order of priority and then by date and time stamp of application. UT Dallas has the right to reserve units in University Village.
Students with housing stipend scholarships (during their one-week spring renewal process) will receive priority. UT Dallas reserves the right to make appropriate changes in housing priorities and procedures as required. Changes will become effective whenever the appropriate authorities so determine and may apply to both prospective student residents and those already residing at University Village.
When a space becomes available, students will be contacted and given a designated time frame in which to respond.
Students who do not respond within the designated time frame will be contacted and given the option of remaining on the waiting list or canceling their housing application.
Students who do not respond will remain on the waiting list until 30 days after the next semester begins, at which time their application will be cancelled and their deposit refunded.
Students who wish to rejoin the waiting list at that time will be required to submit a new application with all applicable fees.
