Our organizational development and employee relations team is willing to help departments and work groups reach their goals and solve organizational problems. The focus is to assist employees and groups to build teams and develop new skills in order to not only reach goals but to develop the University as we move into the future.

We can also provide an assortment of assessments (communication styles, leadership styles, motivational styles, conflict style, etc. to help tailor training for specific groups and departments. In the coming years the team can also seek certification in other assessment tools The team can also provide assessment of various work groups and departments as help them to develop clearer/cleaner working relationships and processes.

We support the mission of UT Dallas by providing a variety of training and educational activities, classes, and seminars for University faculty and staff in both a general UTD forum as well as developing special training activities for individual work groups and departments. Most of our classes will be offered live; however, our goal is to enhance training opportunities through viable on-line programs.

The majority of our learning of our jobs and career occurs through on the job training and is done by more experienced managers, supervisors, and co-workers. Our team can provide one-on-one and group sessions to help with the general competencies needed to improve work performance and enhance careers. We also provide individualized training to others who would like to be more proficient in their ability to mentor and coach others.
