Summary:
Function & Scope: Will provide administrative & supervisory skills in the daily function of patient accounting & oversee institutional compliance of medical billing.
Essential Functions:

- Management of accounting & medical billing

Given: Supervision of Patients Account staff.
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related degree.
Preferred: CPR Certification
Experience:
Required: Three years of experience in medical/clinical field with two years in a supervisory capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred: N/A
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and ability to be a team player.

If this is a supervisory position, the incumbent is expected to complete required supervisory training; orient, train and develop subordinates; provide appropriate coaching, guidance and supervision to subordinates; and complete annual performance evaluations.

Responsible for duties as assigned relating to internal controls including safe-guarding of department assets, reliability of department financial information, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
Any qualifications to be considered as equivalents, in lieu of stated minimums, require the prior written approval of the Assistant Vice President, Human Resources Management.
