Summary:

Process all student enrollment applications and documents.  Processing of all student enrollment applications and documents in a timely and accurate way using university guidelines for admissions.              

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Typical Essential Functions include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Learn how to process student applications and documents which involves verifying large amounts of data for accuracy and completeness in a timely manner; investigates, locates and matches admission applications with other application documents such as transcripts and test scores. Establishes a high level of integrity and ethical behavior in dealing with confidential information. Responds to inquiries within 24 hours.

  • Support team members and other EM departments when needed.  

  • Learn how to research and confirm applicant residency status.

  •  Occasionally interact with applicants and students.

  • Attend required meetings and participate in UTD Enrollment Services events as assigned.

  • Learn existing and new technological platforms to enhance application processing.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Received:                               Close Supervision –  Work is reviewed at several steps along the way for accuracy.

EDUCATION:                       
Required:                                High school diploma
Preferred:                               Bachelor’s degree

EXPERIENCE:

Required:                                3 years related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:                                Same.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software

SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS ( such as hours, accuracy, special equipment and/or working conditions):             

 Position may require overtime work during certain times of the year upon request.

OTHER:       

If this is a supervisory position, the incumbent is expected to complete required supervisory training; orient, train and develop subordinates; provide appropriate coaching, guidance and supervision to subordinates; and complete annual performance evaluations.

Specific job requirements or physical location of some positions allocated to this classification may render the position security sensitive; thereby subject to the provisions of Section 51.215 Texas Education Code.

Responsible for duties as assigned relating to internal controls including safe-guarding of department assets, reliability of department financial information, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

Any qualifications to be considered as equivalents, in lieu of stated minimums, require the prior written approval of the Assistant Vice President, Human Resources Management.
