Summary:
Function & Scope: Process all student enrollment applications and documents. Perform processing of all student enrollment applications and documents in a timely and accurate way using university guidelines for admissions. Lead employee team and/or manage projects and participate in the writing of processes and procedures to support the Enrollment Services mission and goals.
Essential Functions:
Typical Essential Functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Act as team leader on identified projects as assigned and create reports. Projects may include responsibility for Transfer Articulation, International Credential Review, OnBase Lead, Residency, Deferments, Contracts, and Special School Program Management.
- Supervise employee team, participate in employee performance review process and participate in interviewing, evaluating and hiring of possible new hires.
- Assist in creating and then monitor Career Development plans for each team member.
- Identify and write processes and procedures for areas of responsibility.
- Interact with staff and students as needed.
- Attend required meetings and participate in UTD Enrollment Services events.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Received: General Supervision: Incumbent develops own ways to perform a variety of duties or performs complex duties within established policy guidelines; responsible for a defined set of assignments, expected to determine and create procedures to set priorities and meet goals.
Given: Recommend hiring, determine training needs, plan and assign work.
Education:
Required: Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
Experience:
Required: 3 years or more of related work experience.
Preferred: 8 years or more work experience.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software.

Special Job Requirements (such as hours, accuracy, special equipment and/or working conditions):
Position may require overtime work during certain times of the year upon request.
Other:
Complete required supervisory training; orient, train and develop subordinates; provide appropriate coaching, guidance and supervision to subordinates; and complete annual performance evaluations.

Responsible for duties as assigned relating to internal controls including safe-guarding of department assets, reliability of department financial information, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
Any qualifications to be considered as equivalents, in lieu of stated minimums, require the prior written approval of the Assistant Vice President, Human Resources Management.
