Summary:
Function & Scope: Will be responsible for billing of Facilities Management service accounts and related matters. Maintains billing information, produces invoices, researches and resolves work order system issues and work order billing issues with UTD customers campus-wide in regards to keys, event set-ups, and maintenance and repair. Position regularly provides assistance and back-up support as department buyer and stores inventory clerk.
Essential Functions:
Typical Essential Functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate Facilities Management work order process to receive, track, respond to and bill for services provided for issuing keys, custodial services, vehicle maintenance, minor construction, building maintenance and repair, moves and events set-up.
- Researches and resolves billing issues, prepares correcting journal entries (IDT's) and maintains supporting documentation.
- Purchases parts for FM Stores inventory or in support of work orders in process. meets with campus liaisons, supervisors, foremen and other FM staff to plan and coordinate procedural changes.
- Ships and receives merchandise, issues tools and parts to maintenance staff.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

Received: Supervision - : General Direction: : Receives guidance in terms of broad goals and overall objectives and establishes own methods to attain goals. Only final results are reviewed.

Education:
Required: 2 years college, trade or technical certification preferred.
Preferred: N/A
Experience:
Required: 2-4 years facilities management-M&O experience in an institutional setting, experience with a work order process and proficient with MS Office. Computer, phone, professional customer service skills and skilled working knowledge of work order software, procedures and parts ordering.
