The Vice-President of Administration is the Official Custodian of Records for the University of Texas at Dallas. The Office of Human Resources Management (HRM) manages access of personnel records outside of Public Information Requests. Employee inquiries regarding personnel records should be directed to HRM@utdallas.edu or you may call 972-883-2221.

To Request or Review a File
An employee may request to view his or her file by calling 972-883-2221 and giving 24 hours notice.
Charges for Copy of Personnel Records
It is the policy of UT Dallas to recover the full costs for retrieving and copying public records, including employment records. Employees will be assessed charges for copies in accordance with the recovery of costs guidelines in the UT Dallas Business Affairs Administrative Policies and Procedures Manual, A2-100.1.2.
Public Information Requests
All third party inquiries about or requests for UT Dallas employee records must be directed to the Public Information Officer, the Vice-President of Administration.
