There are two options if you choose to live on campus: University Commons Residence Halls (dormitories), and University Village Apartments. On-campus housing is not guaranteed and requires an application. For best results, apply for housing as soon as you receive your offer of UT Dallas admission.
The Comet Cruiser, DART 883 bus connects UT Dallas to several local housing communities. In addition, students can travel to and from campus via regular DART bus routes. Route and schedule information can be found on the Parking and Transportation website.

Crime Prevention and Safety Resources
The UT Dallas Police Department provides a variety of On-Campus Crime Prevention Services, including home security surveys and safety escorts around campus. Safety workshops are held at the beginning of each semester for students interested in learning more.
