There are two options if you choose to live on campus: University Commons Residence Halls (dormitories), and University Village Apartments. On-campus housing is not guaranteed and requires an application. For best results, apply for housing as soon as you receive your offer of UT Dallas admission.
Comet Cruisers are local buses which connect UT Dallas to several local housing communities. There are two Comet Cruiser routes: Route 883 and the McCallum Connection Pilot Route. Many students search for accommodations along these routes, because it allows easy access to campus. In addition, students can travel to and from campus via regular Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) bus routes. Crime Prevention and Safety Resources
The UT Dallas Police Department provides a variety of on-campus Crime Prevention Services, including home security surveys and safety escorts. Safety workshops are held at the beginning of each semester for students interested in learning more.
