Director’s Message

Through the generosity of our donors, volunteers, corporate partners and funders, IIE has continued its mission of educating students, supporting faculty, and engaging our community around the goals of innovation, problem-solving and creating viable businesses. We are proud of our successes and look forward to highlighting many of these in this report. With daily reports of global economic malaise, it is exciting to be part of an organization committed to developing “out of the box” thinkers who will create the businesses, jobs and solutions to the world’s toughest problems. Whether through our annual Business Idea Competition, our award-winning academic programs, or our new endeavors, such as the Girls Going Places Entrepreneurship Conference, we hope you will continue to partner with us in making a difference in North Texas!
