Digital Certificates: How to Install your Digital IDs into OutLook on a Mac

  1. Open Outlook 2011
  2. Click Tools
  3. Select Accounts
  4. Click the Advanced button.



  5. Click the Security tab
  6. Select your certificate from the drop down list under Digital Signing. You may only see one certificate listed
  7. Change Signing Algorithm to SHA-1
  8. Select your certificate from the drop down list under Encryption. You may only see one certificate listed
  9. Change the Encryption Algorithm to 3DES
  10. Click Ok



  11. Publish certificates to the Global Address List (GAL)
  12. Congratulations!  Now you're ready to sign and encrypt email.
