Logging in

  1. Open a browser window and go to elearning.utdallas.edu.
  2. Click on the Training, Organizations and Research institution.
  3. Click the Login button.
  4. Enter your NetID and password.

Accessing the survey

  1. Click on the Information Security Desktop Survey link on your Course List.
  2. Read the information at the top of the page.

Completing the survey

  1. Scroll down until you see the sections of questions. Click on the section you want to take.
  2. Click the Begin Assessment button.
  3. Answer each question.
  4. Click the Save Answer button.
  5. Click the Save All Answers button.
  6. Click the Finish button.
  7. When you see the yellow success message, click the OK button.
  8. Either click on the next section from the list or click on the house icon on the course menu to go back to the Course Homepage.
  9. Repeat these steps for each of the six sections.
  10. When you have completed all sections, you should see a Thank You message appear on the Course Homepage.
  11. Click the Log out link in the top right corner of the screen to log out of the survey.
