UTD has instituted a Cellular Communications Equipment Policy (PDF doc) effective from November 2005 whereby individuals may request a University subsidy for personal sevices used for official University business. Supporting documentation online includes the request form (Word doc) as well as a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document.

UTD gets discounts on cellular service through the State of Texas discount program. Both AT&T and Sprint participate. UTD is also eligible for specials on selected cellular phones. These offers and rates change frequently, so call Darlene Johnson at ext. 4800 for a current quote.
