Long Distance Reports

Each month departments are provided with an itemized billing by extension for long distance calls. The long distance service is provided through SBC and UTD gets special State of Texas rates. For questions on billing, contact Mary-Margaret Echevarria at ext. 2690.

Authorization Codes

All international calls placed on campus require the use of an authorization code. Codes can also be used to place long distance domestic or international calls from restricted phones. Codes can either allow domestic long distance only or both domestic and international long distance. To obtain a code or to have one canceled, contact Mary-Margaret at ext. 2690. There is no charge for codes.

Calling Cards

Faculty and staff who travel or need to make long distance calls from home can request calling cards. A TSR should be submitted to Darlene Johnson at mail stop JO48.

Personal Long Distance Calls

Personal long distance calls may not be charged to University accounts. It is against the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Regents.
