DBA Group

The AIS DBA Team provides support for DB2, Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL databases that reside within the AIS enterprise database environments.  The DBA Team is responsible for all DBA tasks in these enterprise environments, including schema changes, database creation, performance tuning, backup and recovery.  These environments are configured and maintained following industry best practices. Many databases that are critical to UTD are maintained in these environments.  The vision of the DBA Team is to expand and enhance these enterprise environments with additional features, support tools and capacity.

Currently,  AIS DBA Team is not staffed to handle consulting and management of department level databases that reside outside of the enterprise environments.  If you would like more information about migrating databases to the enterprise environments, contact either Debbie Leiter x6272 or David Holmes x2686.
