A Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Dr. Andrew Blanchard brings a rich background in electrical engineering and technology transitioning packages development to Academic Affairs. Having served at Texas A&M, UT Arlington, and the University of Missouri, Columbia, before joining the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Sciences in 2001, Dr. Blanchard provides guidance to the academic programs in curricular and faculty development and works closely with the Office of Research in promoting the university’s expanding research agenda.Ph.D., Texas A&M University, 1977
Financial Services Office

The Financial Services Office was created in the summer of 2011 with the hiring of a director. Primarily an internal function, the purpose is to assist the Information Resources Department with budget, forecasting, business planning and other fiscal and business affairs. The director functions as the IR business manager at the direction of the CIO and may participate in any activity related to the business of the central information resource at UT Dallas.
