Project Orion


Orion is our new student information system, replacing SIS Plus. This system provides students a centralized source for reviewing their schedule and grades, registering for classes, and monitoring their financial aid. It is also used by faculty, academic departments, advisors, and pretty much any staff member at the University of Texas, Dallas.

In order to provide support to users, such as applicants, we have published basic support on these pages of the Enterprise Application Services (EAS) department website:

  Quick Start Guide Provides an introduction to some of the basic features and options available in the Orion system and is intended for people unfamiliar with the Orion system.
  Student Center Describes the Student Center module of Orion, including such topics as checking application status and search for courses in the Course Catalog.
  General Help This se ction covers general topics about using a PeopleSoft system, such as accessing the Orion system, how to use the online training player, and frequently asked questions.
