New, Improved WebCT Support Now Available!

UTD is upgrading WebCT support for faculty, staff, and students! The campus community can access new support resources including improved self-help resources and a Knowledge Base via the following link: http://www.utdallas.edu/elearninghelp. The link can be found on various UTD web pages including eLearning, distance educaton, library, Information Resources, and within WebCT. Improved services also include a toll free telephone number for immediate assistance (1-866-588-3192), email request service, and an online chat service. This new WebCT user support service will be open and available 24/7 for the convenience of all users.

Summer Training Calendar Now Available!

The schedule of eLearning classes for June, July, and August is now available at http://www.utdallas.edu/ir/elearning/training.htm.  In addition to the Office 2007 Level 1 classes, we are now beginning to offer Office 2007 Level 2 classes.  We are also offering 8 new WebCT courses to help faculty expand and improve their WebCT skills.  We will continue to expand our training sessions in the Fall semester as well.

Student Guide Updated

The Student Guide for WebCT has been updated. The new version is available on the Students tab.

Instructors- Do you need student data from a previous semester in WebCT?

Student data (assignments, tests, grades, etc) is still available to you from previous semesters in WebCT as long as you still have access to the course. If you do not see the course/semester you need listed on your Course List or on your hidden courses list, please email webct@utdallas.edu. We will need to know the course number, section number, and semester that you need to access. If you have access to the course and semester you need, these instructions will help you access the student data.
