Help Desk

The Help Desk will be closing for Winter Break on Friday, December 21st and will re-open on Wednesday, Janurary 2nd. During this time, email and phones will be periodically checked for high priority issues. All other requests will be addressed after the break.

The UT Dallas Help Desk is your go-to resource for campus technology questions. We assist students, staff, and faculty with a wide variety of issues including:

  • Wireless Setup and Troubleshooting
  • Account and Login Issues
  • Virus and Spyware protection and removal
  • Software Installation
  • and much more…

Some issues go beyond the scope of our office. These are passed on to the department technicians via HEAT Tickets. You can use the ticket number you’re given to track its progress on the HEAT Self Service site.

The Support Center can take requests via phone or email, or you can stop by one of our Walk-In locations in the IR/TCS general access computer labs for in-person assistance.
