Connect to the CometNet Network on Macintosh OS X

Airport Indicators

The airport menu is located at the top right of your screen, by default, to the left of the clock. The possible visuals for your airport menu are:

 Airport is turned off. To turn it on, click this icon and select "Turn Airport On". Airport must be on to proceed.
 Airport is turned on, but is not connected to any networks. This document will help you connect to the CometNet2 wireless network.
 Airport is both turned on and connected to a network.

Click on the Airport icon in the upper right corner of our screen or click the Apple logo in the upper left and select System Preferences > Network > Airport > Network name.

Select CometNet

User Name: netID

Password: netID password

802.1x: Automatic

TLS Certificate: None

Verify Certificate Prompt: Select the "Always trust" box and click Continue.
