Airport is both turned on and connected to a network.
Connection Instructions
- Click on the Airport icon on the top right of your screen.

- Click on the CometNet2 network. It should automatically be listed under the network options.

- Enter your netID and password into the dialog box that appears. Set 802.1x to Automatic, and check "Remember this network".

- You'll then get a dialog box saying that it won't trust the certificate, as there are no explicit trust settings. Click the button on that dialog that says "Show certificate".

- Check the box for "Always trust 8021x.utdallas.edu", located below the original message.

- Enter your computer's name and password (this is NOT your UTD information). If you don't know the password, try leaving that box blank.

- You should be connected to CometNet2! If you have any problems setting up the wireless, or if it isn't working, visit the Help Desk in the Sonora and Jonnson computer labs.
