How To Obtain Your Computer Name

The following instructions can be used to find your computer name. This is an essential part of using Remote Desktop.

Step 1 - Click on the Start Menu, and right click on My Computer. Click on Properties.

Step 2 - After the Properties Window has opened, Click on the Computer Name tab at the top. This tab will include the Full Computer Name, as well as other information. When you are done, exit out of the Properties window to finish.
