How To Know When to Use Your NetID or your UTD-ID

Your UTD-ID can be used to pick up your NetID account at the NetID site by selecting Setup a new UTD computer account.  With your UTD-ID and date of birth you can retrieve your net id and create a NetID password.

The NetID and the NetID password are your primary login credentials for most UTD systems. You can manage and reset the password at the net id site.  Systems such as Galaxy, Orion, and WebCT can all be accessed with the NetID and NetID password.
