How To... Register Your MAC Address


These are the instructions for registering your MAC address for the UTD network.

  1. To register your network card, go to http://netreg.utdallas.edu/ and login with your NetID and password.

  2. Click on Register New NIC.

  3. Enter the MAC address of your network card. Make sure you change the Card Type to Wired. For more information on finding your MAC address, see How To Find Your MAC Address.
    Note: It is no longer necessary to register MAC addresses for use on the AirUTD wireless networks.
