How To Enable Remote Desktop - XP

Using the following directions, you can set up your computer to be remote accessed by you from another computer.

***In order to finish setting up your desktop for Remote Access, you MUST change the power settings. Thankfully, we thought ahead and made a How-To that shows you how to do just that. Please go HERE before/after these changes have been made.***

Step 1 - Click Start, and open the Control Panel

Step 2 - After you have opened the Control Panel, in the Classic View, find and open System.

Step 3 - Aftrer you have opened the System Properties window, click the Remote tab at the top of the window, and check the box for "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer." Click Apply and OK to finish with these changes. Don't forget to go to the other How-To about changing the power options for XP HERE to finish your set up.
