How To Connect to the New Waterview Network for XP

On June 22nd, 2009, there will be a global change to the WATERVIEW wireless network that will affect every user. The Waterview Park apartment complex will be making a transition towards using their own equipment by late summer. Until that day, after June 22nd, the following changes will have to be made in order to properly use the Waterview Network:

WINDOWS XP

-Click on Start menu, then select Control Panel

-Click on Network Networks and Internet Connections

-Select Network Connections

-Right click on the wireless adapter, then click on Properties

-Click on the Wireless Networks tab

-Select the WATERVIEW network, then click on Properties

-Click on the Authentication tab, then click on Properties

-In the Trusted Root Certification Authorities list, check the box next to Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority then click on OK and you are all set.
