Migrate to Exchange

Now that your new Exchange mail account is active, you’ll want to move over any old messages from your Zmail inbox that you don’t want to lose.

  1. Setup Outlook to pull mail from both your old Zmail account and your new Exchange account.

  2. Simply drag the messages you wish to keep from your old inbox to the new.
    If you would like help setting up Outlook or moving your emails, you can chat and screenshare with one of our Help Desk support staff at helpdesk.utdallas.edu.
  3. Once you’ve transferred any important messages, contact the Help Desk. They will let the Zmail admins know it’s okay to close your old inbox. This will prevent any future mail routing conflicts.
