Request a student organization website

These are the instructions for requesting a website for your student organization. Access to web space for student organizations is granted through the Computer Account Request (CAR) Form.

  1. Print out and fill in a Computer Account Request Form . Read the CAR Form Instructions for more information on filling out the necessary fields properly.

  2. In the Other field, please include the requested web address.
    Note: Root addresses like studentorg.utdallas.edu are not available. Rather, they must be in the form of www.utdallas.edu/orgs/orgsname.
  3. Make sure that the CAR Form is signed by the organization’s sponsor.

  4. Submit the completed CAR Form to Provisioning and Access Control, Mailstop ROC 20, Ext. 6880.
