Digital Certificates: How to Publish your Digital IDS to the GAL
Publish Digital ID to the GAL in Office 2003
Open Outlook
Click Tools
Click Options
Click Security Tab
Click Settings
For Signing Certificate, Click Choose
In the Select Certificate, Select the Latest Certificate Expiration Date and click OK
For Encryption Certificate, Click Choose
In the Select Certificate, Select the Latest Certificate Expiration Date and click OK.
Click OK on the Change Security Settings
Click on Publish GAL and Click OK for each pop-up window
Continue to Click OK to exit all the Option windows
Close Outlook and reopen it. The certs should now be in the GAL.
Close ALL applications and Reboot Computer
Publish Digital ID to the GAL in Office 2007
Open Outlook
Click Tools
Click Trust Center
Click Email Security
Click Settings
For Signing Certificate, Click Choose
In the Select Certificate, Select the Latest Certificate Expiration Date and click OK
For Encryption Certificate, Click Choose
In the Select Certificate, Select the Latest Certificate Expiration Date and click OK.
Click OK on the Change Security Settings
Click on Publish GAL and Click OK for each pop-up window
Continue to Click OK to exit all the Option windows
Close Outlook and reopen it. The certs should now be in the GAL.
Close ALL applications and Reboot Computer
