Secure Protocols: IMAPS for Outlook

If you already have IMAP set up in Outlook, converting to IMAPS is very simple.You check on box, and you're done. To get there, click on Tools/Email Accounts, select inbox.utdallas.edu (or whatever you've named the account) and click on Change.

In the Email Accounts window, click on the More Settings button.

In the Internet E-mail Settings window, select the Advanced tab and check the box labeled This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)

That's it, you're done.
