TelecommunicationsThese services are provided to the campus at large by the Telecommunications Services staff. Telecom is a self-sustaining service department, meaning that most services provided by Telecom are billable to the end user as opposed to being provided from University overhead, like electrical services or heating/AC. This revenue stream sustains the operation of existing services as well as providing funding for new and/or replacement Communications services. Service rates and expenditures are reviewed and audited annually to ensure that customers are charged fairly and in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
