On-Campus Housing

On-campus housing is not guaranteed and requires an application. There are three options if you choose to live on campus: University Village Residence Halls (dormitories), University Village Apartments, or Waterview Park Apartments. For best results, apply for housing as soon as you receive your offer of UT Dallas admission.

Off-Campus Housing

The 883 bus connects UT Dallas to several local housing communities. For examples of apartment complexes near the UT Dallas campus, click here.

The 884 bus route will be discontinued due to low ridership, effective Monday, May 20. The pilot route currently takes riders to and from the UT Dallas traffic circle and Lloyd Drive.  Students will still be able to travel to and from campus via regular DART bus routes.

Temporary Housing

• Some UT Dallas student organizations provide temporary housing for new students. The following international student organizations have assisted new students with temporary housing in the past:
  • Bangladesh Student Organization
  • Friendship Association of Chinese Students and Scholars
  • Indian Student Association
  • International Christian Fellowship
  • Iranian Student Community
  • Taiwanese Student Association
  • Turkish Student Association
