The University of Texas at Dallas in conjunction with the Rules and Regulations of The Board of Regents of The University of Texas System has adopted rules and regulations for the orderly and efficient conduct of business. Each student is charged with notice, knowledge and compliance with the contents and provisions of UTD and System rules and regulations in addition to federal, state and local laws.
The Rules and Regulations of The Board of Regents of The University of Texas System includes a vast array of information. Most student orientated content is contained within Series 50000: Student Issues.
For ease in locating the most common UTD student-related rules and regulations, Title V of The University of Texas at Dallas' Handbook of Operating Procedures contains information relating to Student Discipline and Conduct and Student grievance Procedures.
Student Discipline and Conduct contains regulations for student standards of conduct, disciplinary procedures and disposition, and information pertaining to financial transactions with the University. Student Grievances includes the University's equal educational opportunity and sexual harassment statements and the respective complaint procedures, as well as the procedure for unresolved grievances relating to a student's academic standing at U. T. Dallas.
