Faculty and their teaching assistants should use the
McDermott
Library Reserve Request Form to put items on library
reserve. Instructions:
- Please submit lists TWO WEEKS before assignments are
made in class.
- Enter your UTD-ID and Last Name and select the semester
for which you are reserving the material.
- Choose the course and its section from the list of
courses assigned to you for that semester.
- If your course does not show up in the list, enter
the course name in the "Instruction/Notes" box.
- Select the item type and the time period that it can
be checked out.
- Enter the author, and title for each item to be placed
on reserve. You will not be able to submit a request without
this information.
- Electronic files supplied by the professor can be uploaded
with the request by choosing "Professor Plans to Upload
the File."
- Only files with an extension of .doc, .pdf, .txt, .xls,
and .ppt can be uploaded with a maximum size of 4MB.
- Requests made in the current session can be viewed
and edited.
- A Help file is attached to the form to provide information
while working in a session.
