Engineering Village [Compendex] is
a comprehensive bibliographic database of engineering research,
containing over 9.7 million references and abstracts to over
5,000 engineering journals, conferences, and technical reports.
Engineering of all types is fully represented: bioengineering,
computer and technology, electrical, chemical, material and
process, nuclear, optical, civil, agricultural, mechanical,
petroleum, aerospace, automobile, and all sub-disciplines.
Coverage spans publications dating from 1884 to present.

SCOPUS is a multidisciplinary database
covering scientific, technical, medical and social science
literature – over 14,000 peer-reviewed titles from
4,000 publishers. Abstracts to over 25 million records reach
from present back to 1966 with selective linking to full
text. Specifically, SCOPUS covers topics in health, life
sciences, agricultural and biological sciences, chemistry,
physics, mathematics, engineering, earth and environmental
sciences, social science, psychology, and economics, business,
and management.

ACM Digital Library
ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) contains the full text of all articles from ACM as far back as 1954. These include journals, magazines, transactions, proceedings, newsletters, publications by affiliated organizations and special interest groups (SIGs). Search tips are available for the Advanced Search, and there is a section for critical reviews of the computing literature. Efficient and convenient searching for computer science material.

Medline, produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, is widely recognized as the premier source for bibliographic and abstract coverage of biomedical literature. Medline encompasses information in the areas of allied health, biological and physical sciences, humanities and information science as they relate to medicine and health care, communication disorders, population biology, and reproductive biology. IEEE Xplore, produced by the Institute of Electrical and
Electronics Engineers, is ideal for conducting research in
the field of electronics, electrical engineering, telecommunications,
wireless communications, and computer engineering. It provides
access to IEEE transactions, journals, magazines, conference
proceedings, as well as current IEEE standards. Complete
full text is provided back to 1988, with select content reaching
back to 1952.

Web Patent Database
Includes information about all US patents (including utility,
design, reissue, plant patents and SIR documents) from the
first patent issued in 1790 to the most recent issue week.
Full-text information, including the inventor’s name,
patent title and description, is provided for patents from
1976 to the present. Pre-1976 information is searchable only
by patent number and classification. More extensive information
on patents from 1967 - 1975 is available in the print title
Official Gazette of the United States Patent and Trademark
